I love this quote, it ties into many of my coaching areas.
As a recruiting leader, I train my leaders and staff to encourage candidates to ask questions. I've found the better the questions - the more thoughtful the person.
This doesn't just apply to interviews - think about asking more questions in the rest of your life. Chances are, you'll learn more find more about other people, and more common interests.
Some ideas:
Where someone has traveled and their favorite place.
Ask about their favorite food.
What is one of their passions outside of work.
And remember, one question leads to another, and a chance for you to share and connect.
Questions are small risks - with great rewards.
